THINK30: A Journey of Curiosity, Exploration and Discovery
When Answers Are Everywhere, Better Thinking Matters More Than Ever
We live in a world overflowing with information.
Answers arrive in seconds. Artificial intelligence can explain complex ideas, summarize information, generate recommendations, and help us accomplish things that once took hours. At the same time, we navigate social media, competing experts, persuasive headlines, geopolitical uncertainty, economic disruption, and more information than any of us could possibly evaluate.
The challenge is no longer simply finding information. It is knowing what questions to ask, what evidence to trust, what assumptions to challenge, and what conclusions the evidence actually supports.
THINK30 is an invitation to spend 30 days practising those skills together—a journey of curiosity, exploration, and discovery designed to help us ask better questions, examine evidence, consider different perspectives, challenge our own assumptions, and make more thoughtful decisions.
There is no test. No certificate. No expectation that we will always reach the same conclusions.
You don't have to agree. You do have to think.
Your Navigational Tools: Nine Questions for Better Thinking
Critical thinking doesn't require having all the answers. Often, it begins by asking a better question.
Think of these nine questions as navigational tools. They aren't a checklist, and there is no required order. Use them whenever you encounter a claim, a problem, a decision, an unfamiliar idea—or even one of your own strongly held beliefs.
When the waters get complicated, they can help us find our bearings.

The power isn't in asking every question every time. It's in developing the habit of knowing when to stop, question what you're seeing, look for evidence, consider what may be missing, and remain willing to change course.
Better questions don't guarantee easy answers. They help us make better decisions.
The THINK30 Voyage: Four Weeks of Exploration
THINK30 isn't about mastering critical thinking in 30 days. It's about practising it.
Over the course of the journey, we'll explore four connected themes—moving from questioning what we encounter, to evaluating evidence, testing what we think we know, and ultimately making better-informed decisions.
Each week adds another capability to our navigational toolkit.
Week 1: QUESTION... Don't Believe Everything You Think
Critical thinking begins with curiosity—and sometimes the first thing we need to question is ourselves.
We'll explore assumptions, cognitive biases, first impressions, headlines, algorithms, and the stories we instinctively tell ourselves when we encounter new information.
The challenge: Before accepting or rejecting something, ask one more question.
Week 2: EVIDENCE... How Do We Know?
A confident claim isn't necessarily a well-supported claim.
We'll look at sources, data, anecdotes, correlation and causation, context, variation, and the ways evidence can be selected—or overlooked—to support a particular conclusion.
The challenge: Don't just ask whether you agree. Ask what evidence would justify believing it.
Week 3: EXPERIMENT... What If We Are Wrong?
Some questions can't be settled by debating them. Sometimes we need to test what we think we know.
We'll explore hypotheses, experimentation, uncertainty, unexpected results, learning from failure, and the extraordinary value of discovering that an assumption was wrong.
The challenge: Replace “I think” with “How could we find out?”
Week 4: DECIDE... What Does the Evidence Justify?
Critical thinking doesn't eliminate uncertainty. It helps us make better decisions in spite of it.
We'll explore competing perspectives, incomplete information, risk, trade-offs, confidence, and the difference between what the evidence suggests and what we may want it to say.
And we'll practise one of the hardest thinking skills of all: recognizing when new evidence should cause us to change course.
The challenge: Make the best decision the evidence supports—and remain willing to reconsider it.
Choose Your Ship
There is more than one way to make the THINK30 voyage.
Explore ideas. Join a conversation. Investigate a method. Run an experiment. Build a new capability.
Choose the ship that fits where you want to go today—or sail with the entire fleet.
Every vessel offers a different experience. They all share the same destination: better questions, better thinking, and better decisions.

THE EXPLORER
FitByte — Community, Curiosity & Conversation
Some of our best thinking happens when we encounter ideas and perspectives beyond our own. FitByte is our community vessel—a place to explore, discuss, question, share, and keep learning together. Joining FitByte is free. For those who want to explore further, an optional all-access membership unlocks the Learning Bytes catalogue for $9.95 CAD per month. Explore. Discuss. Challenge. Reflect.
THE INVESTIGATOR
RPM Knowledge Hub — Explore Ideas & Methods
Curiosity often leads to another question: “I'd like to understand that better.” The RPM Knowledge Hub is a growing collection of freely available resources covering Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, analytical methods, problem solving, and evidence-based decision-making. No subscription. No paywall. Just something interesting to investigate. Question. Research. Understand. Explore.
THE EXPERIMENTER
RPM Virtual Process Labs™ — Learn by Doing
Knowing how something works isn't the same as knowing how to use it. RPM Virtual Process Labs™ provide hands-on environments where you can experiment, analyse data, encounter uncertainty, test assumptions, make decisions, and learn from what happens next. The labs and supporting learning resources are free to download. Experiment. Analyze. Question. Decide.
THE NAVIGATOR
RPM Platinum — Build Your Capability
Sometimes exploration reveals a skill or subject we'd like to understand more deeply. The RPM Platinum Learning Portal provides structured learning across Lean Six Sigma, Agile, leadership, business, technology, professional development, and hundreds of other capability-building topics. Start with free courses, or optionally unlock the broader learning catalogue with an all-access membership for $25 CAD per month. Learn. Develop. Navigate. Grow.
Which ship did you choose? Perhaps one caught your attention. Perhaps several did. That's the point.
Curiosity rarely travels in a straight line—and you don't have to choose just one way to explore. Follow the questions wherever they take you.
Your THINK30 Challenge
You don't need a course, special software, or even one of our ships to take part in THINK30.
For the next 30 days, try one simple thing: Ask One Better Question Every Day.
When you encounter a headline, an AI-generated answer, a business problem, a political claim, a social media post—or even one of your own strongly held beliefs—choose one of the nine navigational questions. Ask it. Follow where it leads. And tomorrow, ask another.
Thirty days. Thirty better questions. Imagine where they might take you.
Our Mission
We believe the world doesn't need more people telling one another what to think.
It needs more people willing to ask thoughtful questions, examine evidence, listen to different perspectives, acknowledge uncertainty, test assumptions, and change their minds when better evidence emerges.
THINK30 is our invitation to practise those habits together—one question, one conversation, one experiment, and one decision at a time.
Because when answers are everywhere, judgment becomes increasingly valuable.
And better thinking can lead to better decisions—in our organizations, our communities, and our lives.
You don't have to agree. You do have to think.
THINK30
30 Days. Better Questions. Better Decisions.
